There are two different places to administer the software. Server admin and location admin. The server admin is usually performed by an IT or computer person. Functions and changes in this section apply to all locations and system IDs. This is called the server admin.
The second admin section is the location admin. This is accessed while logged into a specific location or system ID as a level 5 user. Functions and changes in this admin have to do only with that location such as users, configuration of reasons and questions, or data manipulation.
Locations are a separate system for a specific lobby, waiting room or business. The location can have departments or unique reasons for visit but typically all the visitors are found in a single waiting room. If you were to call out a person in the queue by name, you would expect them to be in that waiting room.
Everyone that logs into this location will use the same location ID
When a location/system id is created, the first Admin user is also created in that system id. This admin user can configure the location and create users. The Admin user will be the same as the system id.
Changes will be validated and applied to the license.txt file
In order to send text messages, you must have a Twillio.com account. All meesages for all ocations will use one account. In the server configuration, the Twillio details must be completed. The following are needed;
Check In Enterprise uses role-based security levels for each user.
A normal user will acknowledge and check out visitors. Depending on the security level for editing, a normal, level 1, user may edit a record.
A report user will have the added ability to open reports and statistics.
An Admin user has the ability to delete/change data, add/change/delete users and to change the configuration for that location.
Users are added using role based security. Each user will log in with a user id, password and a system id. The system id is equivalent to a location where several users work. Create, edit and delete users requires level 5 Admin access to that specific system id.
Each system id/location has it's own configuration. In the configuration, you will set the timezone, hours of operation, user behavior and a few more of the cosmetics for each specific location. With exception of the timezone, most of these are optional.
The Event log is designed to give system level logging to each location. Things like log in success and failure, changed records, deletions, cahnge of configuration and user add/edit/deletes will all be recorded in the Event Log. This is only available to a level 5 users for that location.
